We think in pictures.

When you marry a picture to an experience, we make deeper
meaning of the content and have greater retention of the material.

Graphic Recording

Graphic Recording involves capturing event content—in pictures--in real time.  It is a perfect tool for bridging an event's experience with the world of visual thinking to illuminate key concepts, different perspectives, decisions and the collective input of the participants.

Engagement Walls

Illustrated walls increase interaction of participants by appealing to their creative side. The walls are created with questions posed to event goers. Participants typically engage by writing on the walls, or by interacting with an illustrator who draws on the walls.

Strategic Illustration

Designed studio illustrations begin with a client’s idea for a message that they want to deliver. These maps are co-created with an individual or team in conjunction with the strategic illustrator.  Often the message is connected to a metaphor.

Celebration of Life

Visuals capturing a Celebration of Life are pictures documenting stories, memories and the meaning of a loved one’s existence. This illustrated tribute shows their life and the impact they made on their family and their world.

What is Graphic Recording?

Graphic recording is the real-time translation of conversations or presentations into text and pictures. Graphic recorders do three things simultaneously: they listen for key ideas, synthesize them, and document them in visual form. It gives meeting and conference attendees an opportunity to absorb content on a visual level.

Meet Kriss

Kriss Wittmann is a master strategic illustrator. Her extensive background in graphic arts, illustration, corporate training and higher education has given her a strong ability to visually capture tangible and abstract concepts that allow groups to "see" their challenges and create a clear path forward.  In her strategic illustrations Kriss synthesizes information and provides a visual representation in real time; creating large format maps with concepts and data that are generously immersed with illustrations.
